🔷 Product Description
The exothermic reaction occurs between copper oxide and aluminium powder creating molten super-heated copper and an aluminium oxide slag. When an ignition spark comes into contact with the weld metal, it causes an exothermic reaction within the weld metal, melting and separating the metals.
The exothermic connection is a permanent, maintenance-free weld that will not loosen over time or deteriorate with age. The connections' current carrying capability is equal to or greater than that of the conductors being joined. There is no increase in resistance in an exothermically welded connection.
The exothermic process is a simple, self-contained, efficient way of welding copper-to-copper or copper-to-steel. Connections are produced inside a graphite mould, specifically designed to suit the size of conductors to be welded as well as the specific joint configuration.

1. How to buy your ideal products?
You can provide us your drawings, and we will produce it as per your drawings. Or we can design it if you do not have a clear plan.
2. What are the accepted payment methods?
TT and L/C are acceptable. TT is preferred: 30% deposit before producing, and 70% balance before loading.
3. What is the estimated delivery time?
It depends on the order quantity. Generally, the delivery time will be within 15 to 30 days.
4. How are the products packaged?
Inner boxes and master cartons are made to international standards. We can provide special designs or pallet packing (max 1000kg per pallet) to avoid damage.
5. Can I get a sample and how long does it take?
Sample production takes about 7 days depending on complexity. Normally, our samples are provided free of charge.
6. What materials can be welded using this process?
This process is used to weld copper, copper alloys, copper bonded steel, and various steel alloys including stainless steel.
