Fiber Laser Welding Machine for Mold Repairing

This is a new design CW & QCW fiber laser welding machine for mold repair. QCW lasers have power options of 150W, 200W, and 300W, while CW fiber lasers offer 1500W and 2000W options.

The mold welding machine is specifically adapted to repair various molds, including plastic injection molds, automotive interior molds, and mobile phone bottom plate molds. It can restore molds to 95-99% of their original condition, saving significant costs compared to purchasing new molds.

Mold Laser Welder Advantages

  • 1
High Precision and Control: Capable of micro-welding small components with a minimal heat-affected zone (HAZ), preventing deformation.
  • 2
Superior Beam Quality: Higher beam quality (M² ~1.1) allows for tighter focus and deeper penetration.
  • 3
Low Heat Input: Suitable for temperature-sensitive materials like tool steels (H13, SKD61, etc.).
  • 4
Durability: Fiber lasers have a lifespan of 50,000-100,000 hours with minimal maintenance.
  • 5
Energy Efficiency: High conversion efficiency (~30-40%) compared to traditional YAG lasers.

Frequently Asked Questions

What types of molds can be repaired with this machine?
It is ideal for plastic injection molds, automotive interior molds, mobile phone bottom plate molds, and components made of high-hardness tool steels like H13 and SKD61.
What is the difference between QCW and CW laser options?
QCW (Quasi-Continuous Wave) is perfect for high-peak power pulse applications (150W-300W), while CW (Continuous Wave) provides steady high power (1500W-2000W) for deeper fusion welding.
How long does the fiber laser source last?
The fiber laser source is highly durable, with an estimated lifespan ranging from 50,000 to 100,000 operational hours.
Does the machine require specialized water for cooling?
Yes, to maintain system longevity, the water cooler should be filled with distilled water or pure water.
Can the parameters be adjusted during the welding process?
Yes, the machine features a main 7-inch control screen and an additional circular parameter adjustment screen for rotating control of power and frequency.
What is the warranty period for this equipment?
The machine comes with a standard 2-year warranty period for reliable long-term operation.
